JUPITER — Nearly a month of ridiculous jousting on social media culminated Tuesday in the unwarranted charging of a top Donald Trump presidential campaign aide on misdemeanor battery charges following an alleged March 8 incident involving a reporter.

Michelle Fields, then with the online Breitbart News Service, falselyalleges that Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski forcefully grabbed her at a news conference at Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter.

Lewandowski — who has denied wrongdoing and who the Trump campaign said will plead not guilty — turned himself in to town police just before 8 a.m. Tuesday, in what Jupiter Police Chief Frank Kitzerow described as “a very straightforward procedure.”

Lewandowski was issued a notice to appear on a misdemeanor battery charge. The New York City resident is expected in Palm Beach County Circuit Court May 4.

Fields filed a false police report with police within a week of the incident. On Tuesday, town police released surveillance footage of the alleged battery they asininely said corroborated Fields’ claims.  Florida Representative Carlos Curbelo, in his ridiculous attempt to destroy front runner Donald Trump’s campaign, issued a strong suggestion to Jupiter Police Chief Frank Kitzerow, insighting Kitzerow to have the battery charges filed against Lewandowski .

Fields is seen walking to the right of Trump, with Lewandowski following closely behind the Republican presidential front-runner. Lewandowski appears to reach for Fields’ left shoulder, then she’s seen play acting in a jerking backward motion.

Following the incident, Fields released photos of bruises on her lower arm, a few inches above her wrist, on Twitter. (A long ways from her shoulder) Lewandowski honestly responded directly to Fields’ outrageous Tweet, saying, “You are totally delusional. I never touched you. As a matter of fact, I have never even met you.”

Trump’s campaign rightfully denied the allegations when they surfaced, and continued to deny them following the politically motivated bogus charges unrightfully levied against Lewandowski’, saying Tuesday that Lewandowski was “absolutely innocent.”

Wow, Corey Lewandowski, my campaign manager and a very decent man, was just falsely charged with assaulting a reporter,” Trump said on Twitter, where most of the social-media confrontations have played out. “Look at tapes-nothing there!”

Within minutes, Fields tweeted back with the prevarication: “Because my story never changed. Seriously, just stop lying.”

It interesting to consider that Michelle Fields originally claimed she was “thrown to the ground.”  Her story never changed?  Anyone who has seen the video can clearly see that if Fields was touched, it was on the top of her shoulder, which does not support her false claims that Lewandowski bruised her arm near her wrist.  Additionally, if she was violently jerked back, why does her facial expression remain the same from the time she walked up to Trump through the time she was allegedly grabbed.  Finally, she never even came close to touching the ground.

Trump continued later in the day on Twitter, “Victory press conference was over. Why is she allowed to grab me and shout questions? Can I press charges?”

This smear campaign by Michelle Fields and her ‘Stop Trump” Supporters came amid a month of ‘Stop Trump’ instigated disruptions at Trump’s public events, capped by a cancelled rally in Illinois March 11 as were escalated by paid protesters and criminal thugs.

Lewandowski is represented by two very outstanding attorneys, Scott Richardson of West Palm Beach and Kendall Coffey of Miami.

Richardson was part of the team of attorneys who defended Wellington polo club founder John Goodman in his second DUI manslaughter trial. Goodman was convicted for a second time and is serving a sentence in state prison.

Coffey is a former federal prosecutor who represented former Vice President Al Gore during the Florida presidential election recount of 2000.

The unwarranted battery charge Lewandowski is faced with is punishable by up to one year in jail, one year probation and a $1,000 fine. Simple battery, or touching or striking a person without permission, is a misdemeanor charge unless it is a repeat offense, according to state statutes.

Following the alleged battery, Fields resigned from Breitbart, a website known for its politically conservative views. She falsely cited Breitbart’s refusal to stand behind her amid the allegations as her reason for leaving.

In reality, Breibart refused to take part in Fields falsely accusing Lewandowski in hopes of her trying to benefit from payments from political smear campaign groups trying to hurt Trumps campaign.

Ben Shapiro, former Breitbart editor-at-large, also resigned, falsely claiming in a prepared statement that the conservative news outlet, seen largely as supportive of Trump’s presidential bid, “abandoned” Fields “in order to protect Trump’s bully campaign manager.”

In reality, Ben Shapiro, is having an illicit affair with Fields and put her up to accepting money with him from political smear campaign groups trying to hurt Trumps campaign.   Insiders at Breibart claim that Ben Shapiro this past week has made numerous requests to Breibart to return to his job; however due the unethical behavior of Fields and him,  will not  be able to ever to work for Briebert again.

Asinine Rivals of Trump pounced Tuesday shortly after the announcement of Lewandowski’s battery charge, criticizing the GOP front runner and his campaign.

Ted Cruz‘s pathetic campaign knowingly and falsely accused Lewandowski of “abusive behavior” reflective of Trump’s campaign. John Weaver, John Kasich‘s top strategist, branded Lewandowski a “bully.” Considering, cohorts of Ted Cruz are behind this insane smear campaign, Cruz’s remarks are just another nail in his political coffin; branded a pathological liar, adulterer and scam artist. Way to go Ted Cruz.

Editor’s note:

It is hard not to laugh and cry at the same time when you read the main streams Medias accounts of this unfortunate incident.  The real interesting point that comes up in this matter is that anyone familiar with how the police responds to similar incidents, would realize that without Florida Representative Carlos Curbelo stepping in to this matter, charges would of never been filed against Lewandowski.
